Novice, was a Burlington resident for a few years and this brings back memories. Loved the Mississippi, most underrated fishing in the Midwest in my opinion winter or summer.
Burlington, IA? That's a very pretty "city" in my opinion. Have heard many folks state the same about fishing the MS. :)
awwwww Quinn, I can only imagine how much that pained you! :D
Because you were so nice, I googled the definition of city:
If #1 is true, Fayette is not a city. ;) Burlington on the other hand would be. :)

Cool pics by the way.
Speaking of definitions, those shots redefine "Cool"
Is that the new bridge? It looks like the old one???
The bridge that's visible is the "old" rail road bridge. The "new" (refurbished) highway bridge is on the south side of the RR bridge. It's very similar in structure to the "new" Boonville bridge except they used the existing bridge piers and only replaced the deck.
dont pick on jackb he invented bridges
Thank you Beagle! Novice, just teasing you, I could not resist.:)
Actually, the glow from the BAT LIGHT gives it a bit of warmth. Even if it is a picture from the middle of no where. Is that why you and Rugs go back and forth so much? You are like the only 2 people in the county? Yell at each other across "the holler"?
It's even worse than that, Jack. Rugs lives on the other side, in another county. I live on the wrong side of the River. But you had probably already surmised as much.
Maybe you and Rugs should go fishing at his "LAKE" in Marshall and he could show you the sights or would that be sight in his county??? Just yell and I'll.................. :D NEVERMIND I'm being nice. ;)
Little Lake Nojoe? No thanks. Marshall...is that where all the town folk get together and watch the IGA truck unload?
Being from the wrong side of the river, I do not know the answer. Rugs will have to update us. :D
