very good video...i might need to hire him...lol
Well I can see He won't be going hungry in the up coming years when things really get tough Quite impressive starting 2 years before I did He'll proably be a Master!
W T G Stall!
That's fantastic that he's showing an interest at that age. It's been so long since I was that age,but I wasn't tying at that age. Nice looking jigs, too.I guess it's not to early to get my 6 yr old grandaughter started tying.20 month old grandaughter is playing with feathers and chenille already. Maybe try teaching her in a couple years.
Awesome - very impressive- future jig tying bluesman
cool but aren't you corrupting him a little early!!!!!!!!!:p:p:p
Fatman
I'm not in control on this one Fatman. He's been climbing up at my bench since he was big enough to get up on one of the stools. Seemed like he was told not to mess with stuff more than encouraged. I didn't want him to start attempting until he was ready. I only answered his questions as he was able to formulate them. His own curiosity kept him crawling back up on a stool.
Reason you saw him in his long johns in the last few pictures was because he had woken up before anyone else, turned on the lights at the bench, and was tying when I got up at 6:30. I'm not sure who's corrupting who.

That is great!
I hope ? boat You can afford to support his habbit from what I've seen in the past Your only good for about 10 Years!
Hehe, yeah, your right. That boy has gone through some materials. I've had to put some severe limits on what he is allowed to use. He doesn't understand why he can't use hand selected top of the heap, grade A, #1 dry fly necks to make tails for jigs.
Oh, its even worse than you thought, you should see his 12 year old sister tie.
I've got 2 of them experimenting at the tying bench.
Wouldn't have it any other way though.
