Thats a bunch of sashimi!
Found out it's 712lbs, caught out of MA.
MMMM California Roll. Nice un. Just saw a while back a Bluefin about that size going for I think 100gs in Tokyo.
Man that thing is huge! I don't know that I have ever heard of one like that. Usually when we go out we are happy to hit the 100 mark
that is a nice catch
Wonder if he was using cranks, jigs, minnows, or minnow tipped jigs.
definitely rosie reds on an 1/80th oz.chartruse jig..
that's amazing right there. I'm darn sure gonna hit the islands next summer again. Thats some fun right there driving out to Ship Island and just kicking back for a day
You cant see the guy that actually caught that one.....hes passed out on the floor of the boat from exhaustion!!! It really LOOKS like fun.....BUT!!
thats one you need to get ahold to Spear fishing. LOL
Caught a 425 lb. blue marlin off the coast of Guam in 1974.That dude put a major case of whoop a#$ on my bod. Took 2 hrs to get it in. Hung into a couple of the bluefin but they broke off. Dont think i could handle it now but it sure was fun.
Now that's a very memorable fishing trip for sure. I used to want to catch something big like that, but as I get older I aint so interested in it anymore. I think I'll just stick with just chasing that 6 lb crappie.;)
Congrats on your trip!:)
Check this out. This guy land's a 157# bluefin tuna in a KAYAK.
Fishing Fury Kayak Fishing For Atlantic Bluefin Tuna
AWESOME for sure
wonder if it was caught on a b&m jig pole??
That's like taking a knife to a gun fight.
