(ya'll can decide on who is what) I done went and done it. I have officially bit off on this side imaging thing-a-ma-jig. I got all the pieces and parts needed now for the lowrance structure scan. I have an appointment Monday morning to get it all powered up. I am as nervous as a long tailed cat in room FULL of rocking chairs.
I am envious.

DANG! WB you are out and about early. I guess I could have waited a couple of days and laid under the transducer to take my own pics of my shoulder huh. Oh well, the doc needs the money. I can't really give the whos, whats, whens, and wheres right now. Let's just say I have a buddy that helped me get hooked up. Screen shots will be coming.

I've been noodling on this. Here's the thing, you must have an inside track to be able to get one. I mean real inside. Trouble is, you're ugly and a gewber to boot, where as I'm purty and sweet and I can't get one. On top of that, I know people. Through C.C, I've met like a dozen or so folks with their names on their shirts.
The more I thought about it, the more this bothered me. It's been driving me nuts since aobut 5 something this AM when I first read it. Then, it hit me and after I realized it, I feel much better, so only 2 questions remain:

Well there WB I can not reveal my trade secrets at this point. I will say I had to call in some favors AND tell them it was you or me they had to choose between and I won hands down...sorry. I will also tell ya that he weren't no banker type so that worked in my favor. And just to let you know I used to wear shirts with my name on it back in my other fishing life. Well by crappie battleship is at the shop as we speak getting the structure scan installed. I plan on maybe going in the morning (or maybe afternoon) and take some pictures of DonDon's bridges for him.
do me a favor. Go over near the Pelahatchie Bridge and you know the dropoff on the lake side about 200 yards North of and 100 yards off the bank? Check that out and see if you see anything BUT Gaspagoo in there. LOL I bet I caught 15 yesterday in that deep hole

The bigger Crappie are at the 2nd and 3rd rows of piling coming from the North, heading south under Pelahatchie. LOL
Just wanter to check tman, can you give us a report on you new set-up? How does it work? Would you do anything differently? Pictures of set-up? Reading about the +- between HB and Low is making my hair hurt.
How do you like the set up so far?
no complaints at all so far, I have used it twice first time for about 2 hours and the second time about 4 hours. I will tell you that the demo set up they have running at BPS is clearer than what you will see on the water but it is still JAM up in my opinion. The demo while running in the store is like watching HDTV live and on the water it is just like HDTV
HDTV is pretty good t-man,:D but what made you choose the HDS over the HB? This stuff is driving me to drinking.:eek:
Also, is it completely necessary to buy two units? Can't one unit be wired for use in both locations? Oh Man, I'm getting vertigo!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek:
one side scan unit can run up to 3 fish finders. like say a 5 up front and a 7 in back and if you want a 10 at the motor i guess but what i have is the 7 right now i have the 5 for up front but have not installed it yet (got it for christmas)
