Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thanks everyone . I'm looking forward to the move . I'm having a hard time saying goodbye to my coworkers and hunting /fishing friends here in Tn.
I will miss them dearly and hope to visit them in Tn. when I get back here. I hope to make some new friends in the KC area.
So, where in the KC area will you be living?
And welcome!
Post up when ya get settled in.
Well , I made it to KC this week . I would like to thank the Missouri members of CDC that welcomed me last night at the Northland Beer and Burger . I was pretty tired from the busy week ,but I enjoyed talking to you guys about the local fishing .
I hope to share some fishing trips when the weather warms up a little . It's been a while since I have been in this cold in the winter.
Congrats on the move. I'll tell you what, Smithville can be very fun in the winter. Shady lake cove is my favorite winter hole, just find the bait balls and follow them. You'll catch plenty of good crappie. Put in at the W. ramp, take a right under the bridge, and it's the second cove on the left. There's almost always sever boats in there.
I'm almost in the same boat with you. I start a new job Monday morning. After 8 great years on my job, we got taken over March of this year and it turned into the worst job I've ever had. Gave it 8 months to change, it didn't, so I found a new job.
Good luck to us both!
Hey TnRidge good luck down there i have been retired from there for 5 years after 36 years. i always though it was a very good place to work. If you want to work over time try to get in the body shop. I still have a friend down there he is going to 3rd shift next week. Good luck. Jim C.
I'll try to get in the body shop if they haven't filled in all of the positions yet . I have been in body shop and paint shop for the majority of my time with GM .
The wife and I are still learning the area . We are anxious to get out of the apartment and get into a house .
We need more room for storage . I even have stuff stored in my boat.
