Those are really trophy fish, it actually looks like it's well over 12in if you push their tail together to get a true measurement. There's a few that size around here but hard to find. I normally max out around 10.5 or occasionally an 11 inch redear.

there is/was a lake over in tenn that was famous for it's shellcrackers. up to and over 2 lbs. there was an article or two in either the field and stream or outdoor life about the lake. and for the life of me i can't remember it now. old age. it was named after the town it was next too. maybe someone from tenn will know.
