Friday night, we're at home, let's have a themed tie and post pics of what we came up with. How does "shad" sound for a theme?

Man! I can't believe I beat Ya'll had to go out to the shop for the color's Hey Ron this is the gray!

Pulled a Attica on Ya! Attica with the silver tinsel on the belly!I'll give Ya'll the ty up dip bottom of head in white pearl then dip whole 2 times in baitfish ty 4 pcs. nh030 hackle ty silver tinsel down both sides lay on 3 pcs. nh001 hackle ty silver tinsel pull back ty in med pearl chenille pull back ty of wrap to head ty off pull tinsel up to head ty off done!

Flat the grays perfect! Dangit I wish yall woulda started this a bit earlier. I woulda liked gettin in on this one! Some of us have to get up in 5 hours!

Hey ! that split is a style I use alot on My buck tails gonna start this month with them bigger fish take'im Ok Your a crappie Slayer!

Love the pink eye's as well gonna have to use more tinsel got away from it playing with new stuff

I have tried to tie without any tools or knowledge. Not sure even a blind flatfish would eat one. They have been uglee so far.What would be the best way to learn? What basic tools would I need. New to the forum but would appreciate info.

How do you get the split in yours? I've tried for awhile to get it to split right at the back end.... finally came up with tying in and wrapping a small piece of chenille before I put the tail on to have a "lump" to seperate.

I got enough time for 1 more I think!

I lay the bucktail down dark 1st ty it down pull the bucktail down ward cross thread under it make a couple wraps forward you can flare it as much as You want ty mid color in straight then flare the white belly color same way,but upward

There's a wealth of knowlage on here tying vidos and anybody will help You Tool's bobbin fair vise siccors thats bout all I use.

Welcome to the site! I'd say start a new thread in the jig tying board and introduce yourself, you will probably get more people to see it there and answer ALL your questions.
