Just came across this site last week studying Crappie fishing. I have already got a lot of useful info here thanks. I have fished Lake Conway a few times and also the River. Not originally from these parts, more of a small river guy. Up around the Jasper area (Buffalo river). Not too many Crappie up there. ALOT of nice Brownies though.

I am originally from OK but lived in AR for 15 years...I am living in Tulsa, OK now and will be over near Jasper this weekend coming up with my dad (Steel Creek) I float the upper and lower ends of the Buffalo often and have caught a BOATLOAD of smallmouth! :) Good luck getting what you want/need off this site, lots of good info. here! I switched from Brownies in the Mulberry River to crappie when I moved to SW AR last year. Nothing like being waist deep in the river during summer!
Although, I wasn't a big fan of wading with the snakes...
