AL vs MS ?
This aint a challenge. Just something we knocking around. Would any of ya'll be interested in fishing a tourney on the Tenn-Tom Waterway around april or may? Our Club, West Alabama Crappie Association has been knocking around this idea with the MCC about a MS\AL tourney. The thoughts are to fish 3 lakes on the Tenn-Tom waterway, with the weighin being at Pickensville, AL on aliceville lake. Gainsville Lake and Columbus lakes would also be included as fishable water. That gives both states 2 lakes to fish from without buying out of state license. MS residents can fish the Aliceville lake all the way to the dam in Pickensville on MS license as AL residents can fish all the way to the dam at Columbus. This is just something we are kicking around and putting feelers out to determine what kind of participation we could get. I know our club averages about 21 boats per tourney.

Awesome plan
I think this would be a great event. Matter of fact if we can get 50 boats I will sign a sponsor with a $500.00 bonus. All they will want is naming rights. Heck if it was $50.00 a boat by my math this would make this event a $2000.00 1st Place.
Come on guys this would be fun. Looks like the only shot MS has of beating Alabama.

I would be open to it for sure.

Early to mid April would be a good time to do it..May can be really tough

CUSA has an April date for Columbus and there's a church that sponsors a free tournament that we will have to plan around. There's also a Kiwanis Club tourney in late march that would also be planned around. This is only in the small talk now, but looks good so far. I will keep yall posted on updates.
