Those look great....they ought to wear some bluegills out.
Some cool looking jigs... Thats alot of bits and pieces to fit on a 1/100!! Some fine detail work.
Wire Wrapped.... Are you talking about the stuff used as ribbing on flies?
Very nice jigs. Those look like they'd be wonderful for trout as well.
Awesome jigs
Hey Sonny,
Man those look great. That ought to slow the fall rate a little and leave them in the strike zone a little longer. I really like those colors.Take care........ifish
Nice! AsAW!
Nice jigs! Would think the bluegill would be all over them!
Skip
They are nice....Git the grease ready.:D

JSC – G3 – Bluegill roots are coming out.
AF – Using 6 strands of herl (from close to the peacock eye) tied on from the back (with a double strand of wire) and wrapped forward. Then I spiral the wire forward over the herl.
Yeah pup, the trout like them too – especially up in the Sierras.
Mud, Jiggy and ff – thnx – think JJJ is going to like them.
Those look like gill getters, nice
very nice led They look great!!!!!
JJ
Nice Jigs. Going to save the pictures and will be something to tie on a cold rainy day when I can't get on the lake.

Redman
Nice!!
That small work will tie knots in your fingers but they look great
Fatman
Led,those are some killer jigs. Those will fool some gills and trout in Missouri.I knew there was a reason for buying the 7 1/2 ft 3wt flyrod last week. Anything you make will give some fish sore mouths.Impressive looking swap jigs. You got it going.
Thnx MikeB, BH, JJ, FM, and JJJ – way too kind.
Redman - let me know if you need any help on this patttern.
Hope you don’t mind JJJ, with the sneak preview, should be going out tomorrow with some other goodies –thnx again.
I'm looking forward to getting them, fish are coming on now, hope all the rain we are getting doesn't put them down too much.
Very excellent work do you mainly fish for bluegill with these jigs or do you fish for crappie with them also we have made jigs similar to yours but in 1/32oz. 1/64oz. And use them for crappie
Thnx snake River
This double hackle jig is tied for Bluegill, Redear, and Trout. The majority of the jigs I do are in 1/32nd #6 and 1/64th #8 but enjoy doing the Ultra-lite stuff. Also do saltwater jigs – but that is something way different from panfish jigs.
