Here It Is Boys----sign Up For Swap #10

Alright alright...let's get this thing started.Apologies are in order guys. I'm sorry for the hold up but with the new school year starting up and me getting the youngins' situated I had to prioritize and therefore haven't posted much. Now, with that said, let's get this thing started off. Standard rules still apply but let's tie something that we've never tied before. You know-that jig that just looks like it should catch slabs :). I've got a few ideas he he he... In order to keep everyone on time and up to date I'll post the status of everyones jigs as follows: still tying, mailed to swapmiester, jigs received by swapmiester. Remember boys, MAILING DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 14th.

UPDATE: All jigs have been received by Swapmiester. Jigs will be mailed to tyers Monday, September 21st.

You say"same rules apply?...dose this mean you want this jig swap to be a hair jig swap too like in swap #9?

When do the jigs need to be to your place by?

Is there a cut off date you have in mind for late jigs

ooohhhhh yea i love these swaps they are so much fun and the things they bring out in us he he .

oh by the way sign me up please would hate to miss one . and heck something i never tied before that could be alot of things ole boy cause i just started tying couple mths ago . i love love love it , hehe ha ha ..

IT IS A SMOKER SMOKER! Nothing on the market like it , But I better wait till Grub's swap for that ONE!

Cutoff is whenever we get 25 tiers. Nevertheless lets just set cutoff for next Friday, August 28th.

Just curious as to when you think the deadline for received jigs MIGHT be. Not sure if I'll be able to participate in this one because my material bin is skimpy, and times are tough for an English major.

well for one i just want to apologize to ole johnny boy for doubting ya heck noone would want to miss the opertunity to to host the swaps that go on here at c.com.
they are awsome best of luck to all tyers and may your bench be riddin with jigs and thread .

comone guys lets make this one a dandy and tye something fancy .........heck that ryhmed ........can't spell either ....lol

How does September 14th sound for them to be in the mail boys? Don't want to rush anyone but also don't want to hold it up too long. I know we want to get it finished asap but I know some of us (myself included) tie a little slower than others. All in favor???????

No apologies needed Scott. Like I said I just wanted to make sure that I could give the swap my undivided attention and wanted to get Swap 9 wrapped up all the way :o...I'll try to make this thing as democratic as possible so any major changes we'll vote on em. Happy tying boys....;)

Question--What are the rules for this tie swap?

I just got my tying kit last week and have never tied before. I was wondering what are the rules if any and how many jigs do you have to tie etc. etc. Can any of you help with this?:confused:

Read the sticky,fowlmood's jig swap and you should get an idea.Tie the same jig for the amount of tyers entered in the jig swap.Everyone is welcome to enter even if you are just starting out so don't be shy.
