Lost my fishing partner today

After 15 years fishing partner died today 15 years dixie dog kept me company and never complained was allways ready to go never complained when the fishing was not great or that we had to many to clean wife and I will miss her dearly.

My avatar was my fishing buddy. She thought she was as dog and loved to get out on the boat. Damnest thing I've ever seen. She passed last year. I understand your loss, and I'm sorry for it.

Sorry for your loss, it hurts to lose a good companion, I also lost my fishing buddy last August after 13 years, she was a family member who I logged many hours on the water with. Man it hurts I know. CP

I understand exactly how you feel. Our beloved 15 year old Golden Retriever passed away just over 2 weeks ago. It hurts and takes a while to deal with it. At least I do have many wonderful memories of her that I'll carry the rest of my life.

Sorry for your loss, we lost our 10 1/2 year old mini doxie over a year ago, but got another pup within 6 months. Gotta love them little dacshunds.

I go by Alphawolf because I am leader of the pack of dauchunds.We have 4 of them..Not one of them is a good fishing buddies though..I just acquired a catahoula mixed breed puppy somebody dumped on our rural road. I wondering if she'd make a good fishing pardner..What breed was the dog you lost?..

One of my old dogs is close to dieing right now...its a tough thing to watch.

Dixie was a minature fiest she looked like a minature doberman with her ears and tail clipped. I have 2 dachsunds one will make fishing partner other I am not so sure about very headstrong breed minds only when it is convienient.

Sorry to hear it. They give so much and ask so little in return. I had to put my best friend down a year ago after 16 years of his loyalty and constant presence. But the hurt eventually gives way to the good memories.

We have raised and lost several pets while my boys were growing up. I guess for me it was the loss of a chocolate female lab that brought me to tears. We dread the day that something happens to Abbie, our Rat Terrier, but we'll just have to prepare the best we can and enjoy every minute that we share.

April 22, 2006 I lost one if not the best friend I've ever had. He was a 12 1/2 year old hound and Ark. curr mix. He went with me everywhere; even church. If I couldn't park in the shade I left the truck running for the a/c. I've had several dogs but he was the best. I have another dog now that I love but I still miss him dearly. He was special in many ways. Enough rambling; I'm sorry for your lose.
