I saw these along the dam while I was crappie fishing today, you have to look careful. They went for about 50yrds.

Those look like some pretty big beds too. I'm on my way down. Put the coffee on for me. :D
I think I see fish, too.I would have given the gills a shot for a little while.Big beds, big gills.
man i would love to be sitting on them beds right now
I know it sounds strange but the owner of the private lakes I fish says not to mess with the bream unless every once in awhile you want a mess. I've caught 13" bream while crappie fishing and they have shocked a 16" one. I've only keep 6 in the last year but I sure would have liked to hit those beds with my fly rod:D
No catch and release Blackhawk? Them bigguns are just funn.
will the gills come back to bed year after year in the same spot
a few weeks ago i was out on a new lake to me,stumbled across two different beds like blackhawks.....will have to remember there location:D:D:D
Yep, The same in Idaho the Bluegill are in there spawning beds area ever year.
Sweet!!!!
I wished I had my fly rod with me when I found those:D
nice pic
Yes that was a great picture.......would love to give them a try on a UL
Those are moving fish in the beds. When is suppertime? I see a few monster 'Gills.
Ship, those beds are in the private lakes I fish and the owner doesn't like you to mess with the bream so I don't fish for them but I catch a lot of big ones while I'm fishing for crappie. I've caught and released one 13" long and the biologists have shocked one that was 16". He says I can keep a mess every once in a while but I've only kept 6 in the last year.
