Well, well, well!! Lets see now will hold on 5 ft radius for shooting docks and brush piles, gps tracking and cruise control to .1 of a MPH for trolling, WOW! Now if they will come with somthing that will load and unload the Boat.
I would like to know more about the cruise control and speed control feature. I will have to have this on my new boat.
I will definetly put one on a new boat. The new Minn Kota will not be out until November. I hope to know something by the end of next week when and if I can work out the deal I am curently working on for a new poat. If I could just sell my boat straight out it would make it a lot easier. Curtis, I hope to see you at Talquin in September.
What kinda rig we lookin at there Mr.Earl ?
if it does that for real I would love to have it...hover with no problem. I can use that. plus the trolling track up to 2 miles... amazing...bet it is near 3k
how about this.. the downscan looks great..I need to be rich..

Tony, I am trying to work out a deal on a War Eagle Predator 861 and my second choice is an Alumacraft 185 CS. The layout on both seem to be very functional. Thanks for asking. I hope everything is going well for you? We shot docks at Oconee Friday but it was a little slow. We kept 15 nice fish before the lake traffic got to bad.
Both those are good ones Earl, Xpress and of course Tracker are good are metal boats, I have to say War Eagle is a well built hull, just get max power, I pilot, 1197 Hbird, LTL pole holders and you will be set for going on the War Path. LOL Was wanting to get new ride, but probably keep red machine and rig it to the nines with all that stuff. Want Center Console now for bigger pond south of Talquin.
I know where a Center Console SEA CHASER with a Honda 130 Four Stroke is. It is sitting in a shop at one of my customers. If you are interested I will find out more.
I just read that the I-Pilot head will sell of $399. It will fit on Terrova and Powerdrive V2 motors.
Maybe I am missing something here. It seems like its getting to where you can't afford to go fishing now. With the prices they have only the rich can afford these things.
I don't know if I can ride ride in a boat that has War Eagle on it.
I guess I will have to get over the WAR EAGLE emblem also. I spoke with the owner of War Wagle Boats last Friday and was impressed that he would take time to respond to an email from a prospective customer since they do not sell boats directly to the public. Most folks would have just deleted the email. Class act. I am planning on trying one out on Friday to make sure it is as good as I think.
I think you'll like it well, talk to Cane Pole on main board he got one not long ago with Yama 115, think he had a few new boat kinks but I think he likes it,by the way he had the same one you have now too.
Thanks for the input Tony. I am planning on a 115 also. Not sure about an Optimax or Yamaha? Were his kinks boat or engine related?
Paint on hull was geeked up and the dealer sold him a motor that had been sittin around a year or two in box for this years model. Brand new, but when banker or insurance man saw manuf. date on motor tag things went bad. Something everybody should look for when purchasing new boat.
There are so many outboards left over that most new boats are sold with two to three year old motors. The dealers sell the older motors by telling customers the year does not matter because the warranties begin on the purchase date. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to find the perfect layout in a crappie boat. I think the perfect size would be 18ft 6in with a 115 horse motor. No carpet for easy washout, dual recirculating live wells, sunken front and possibly sunken rear decks. Any suggestions???????
I will have one of those on my Terrova next year.
Also the perfect crappie boat is almost the one I have. Lund 1825 Pro Guide Tiller Plenty of room and great ride.
I looked at the War-Eagle and the Lund, went with the lund. But if not for it the war-Eagle would have been it .
Also Mercury and Yamaha did away with year models on there motors. Sure glad I went with the E-Tec Ordered the boat in Feb of last year motor was build March 18th and mounted on the boat March 28th. 2008
Pete
Thanks for the input Pete. Tough decision and I would hate to make it too hastily.
Earl I over a year to make the choice. And will sure tell you, I still think about the 2. Love the lund no dough. But the War-Eagle is a crappie machine. And if crappie was the only thing I would have fished for I'm sure it would have been my choice over the Lund.
But like last week fished the Ms river below Memphis Tn and the Lund was safe and sound on the big waters.
Pete
Thanks again Pete. There are not any Lund or War Eagle dealers in my area. The closest War Eagle dealer is three and one half hours away. I would really like to try one before I buy one.
Hey Earl, you were right about my boat leaning to the right. It was the trim. I also changed the prop, added a jack plate and it pops right out of the hole now. I did lose 2mph though.
No Charge Wes!!! You get what you pay for.
Earl there is a war eagle dealer in town also, good friend Call me....
