Fishing reports from anybody?

Man, I keep checkin, but all I am seeing is reports on trucks, rain, accidents, thefts, and jet skis. Has anybody got a fishing report at all? would even read one on green fish. Now you know I'm desperate for a report. lol :confused:

GCF I went jugging today and it stunk. 17 jugs drifted 500 yards and no fish.Then went crappie hunting and still no luck.This morning the cows were up feeding but when I left the house they had just layed down and the fish must have laid down also.

spoke with a guy at church sunday night said he and two others went to tims and they all caught fish, one guy only caught one, but he and the other guy caught some nice crappie.they also caught alot of smallmouth, said he had one that fought for a while then the fish shook the jig loose and got away.he said it was a good fish.he said the bite at tims was good for crappie.fishing in15 to 20 fow.they got on the water around 7.00pm thursday night.

Yea, ole Brian mentioned catchin a black nose over there that weighed 1.8 lbs in one of his trips to Tims.Maybe I need a lake change for a trip or two.

Steve is in Iowa, don't know if he is fishing or not. I believe he is supposed to be back in the next couple of days, but can't remember. I went down to one of my bamboo docks late yesterday afternoon and picked up a few fairly quick on minnows and a slip bobber. Don't know what the water temp was but the fish were at 11 feet. It was kinda cloudy and no wind, my kinda weather. I am fixing to head out in a few with the boat and go sniff around some other docks at Tims and see if I can't scare up a mess. If I find them again, I will post some pics. Best I can do for ya Toby. FATBOY

Here is your pic. Got one cat, one small gar:eek:,(hate them toothy things) three or four yellow bass, several dink crappie and 13 keepers. Only fished about four hours today at Tims. Had other fish to fry this afternoon. FATBOY

good catch,fatboy,i plan to hit the water this afternoon.boat has been in shop i get to pick her up today.being just a few miles from the water it's hard to resist,so iwill be at the water @ 530 today.more than likely i will go to woods.hopefully i will have a report as good as FB.

I am trying to wiggle around and go myself this afternoon at Woods.

Been out of state for a few days, just got back last night. Brought 3 of the grandkids back with us for a few days. First thing they had to do was GO FISHIN!! Me and Gma took em to woods aroung 10 this morn. Ended up with 5 keepers, enough for "crappie nuggets". Spent a little time at the beach for a picnic and swimmin. I hope that Ethan is feeling better by now.

Ended up with 11 keepers today at Tims. Waded through a whole lot dinks to get those keepers. Didn't catch any other species but crappie, so that much was good. Headed over to Center Hill tomorrow. FATBOY

Me and BigOrangeSlab got to fish tonight for a while till dark. Caught several 9.some odds and got 5 keepers.Caught some catfish, bluegill, and a stripe to boot.Was fun for a quick trip.Fished over brushpiles in 10 to 16 fot.Seen Randy and got a 1 hand look at that new fancy boat of his.Really nice lookin boat.

Saw GCF and BOS at Woods last evening. The boys were puttin' a few in the boat. All I caught were gills and lot of them! My wife said "how come they catch more than you do?" She will not be going back.:D

The bite has slowed for me in the mid Illinois area. Did good up till last wednesday now they are on vacation. Catch a few for supper but it doesn't take many keepers for me and the wife.... I kinda need a rest anyway...

gcf and i got to the water around 5.00 fished till around 9.00 had 5 keeps several dinks,2 cats,1 stripe.not as good as fatboy,but enjoyable.if a mans mission is to get a mess of fish for frying,well mission accomplished.no fishing for me this weekend,grandson[lil'man]is playing in the world sereis in georgia.good luck to all that fish.

sorry,that wasn't much of a report.caught fish in 14 to 16 fow over brush,using minnows.

Just got in and read all these posts. Got to go now. Think I'm gonna grab up my flea market friend and go chase some stripes this afternoon. Haven't gone for them yet, these supposed to be above average. We'll see. Report and pics if we hit the mother lode. Home for the weekend so it ain't a bad start for the weekend.

Didn't go up the river, but bounced around tryin to find some dumb ones. GCF and I found about 10, 4 were keepers. Threw them back. Weather was pleasant, though a bit windy, and the company was good. When you don't get a tap at the candy store you know you're in for a slow days fishin. Quit at dark, both ready for some time in the Lazy boy. Met a friend of John w's named Jerry. Nice guy, needs to be in the club but understand Family comes before that. Hope the coming weekend spurs the bite a little. Tight lines.....
