Well I have given it a try twice in the past week...Worked for me and the bite picked up about 30 minutes after sunset.. I just turned on the running lights and kept on pulling.. The bite was right at the surface..
Has anyone else given it a try??

I tried it once last year when I forgot my light at the house.lol. I thought I would give it a try on the way back to the ramp and it worked pretty good for me. I plan on trying it more this year
No Can't say I have ever tried. But I will for sure be giving it a shot. They gotta eat and who says you can only catch-em in the day time trollin. If you know where your at and know where most snags are and can light up your rod tips somewhat you will be ok..
I have a light i put on the back of my seat that is above my head. I can see all my poles and the corks. Since the bite is on top i think i might use some glow corks for behind the boat but if you can see the tips ya don't need to see the corks...
A light just brings the fish to us.. They are feeding...I plan to try this on the next full moon..and this thursday night...I hope to get foulhook to do it too but after fishing all day he might need his rest..lololol
Glo Jigs ?
i use this light more than the light above my head..best headlight i ever owned besides a coal miners wheatlight for coon hunting. those are too pricey and the battery is heavy
this little light is 20 bucks at wallyworld..you can see the bank 40yds away with the spot..

I have one of these for each side of the boat.. that will make the lines shine for reeling in those that try to cross lines

Hey Keith, is it possible to mix up different color glow jigs?
Keep on giving us feedback on night trolling as each of you try it. I have thought about it but keep thinking of the touble you can run into - tangled lines, underwater brush, not being able to see well. I woul like to hear more as each of you give feedback. Thanks.
The times you did troll at night. Did you catch more in deeper water? I know it always seems we catch more at night in deep water. But are they shallow too.. Man you have made me seriously consider this!!
