New guy from ARK.
Hey fellers...... new guy here on posting but I've been hangin around for awhile reading all the great Crappie fishin talk.
Darryl Morris & Jerry Blake told me about this great website last spring when I was down there for the media outing crappie fishing filming thing. I think Grubby was there too. So yall can blame those guys for inviting me here.:D ha ha
I really enjoy catfishin for big blues on the mighty Mississippi but I also love catching those big ol' slab crappie.:D
Maybe I'll get to meet some of yall at a get together soon.

Good to have you. I live in Batesville, moved here about a year and half ago. I'm originaly from the southeast part on the state and I like fishing the Mississippi and it's oxbows too. Have you done much crappie fishing in this area or any other fishing? That's a nice cat you have a picture of, would like to get into them. There's also another fellow on here from Batesville that goes by Creekslick. We'll try to get together and go sometime.

Welcome Bard. I'm from just north of Batesville. I fish lake charles for crappie, and bass. Black River and St. Francis for cats. My largest cat on R&R is 62.5 lbs. Crappie run on the small side in charles as do the bass but their eager to bite.
