Saw a few leaves on the peach trees starting to turn. Wife and I went for a UTV ride trough the woods and found 5-6 PawPaw trees with pretty good clusters of fruit on them. Not quiet ripe yet but hope to beat the squirrels to them once they are ripe

Same here in Ohio. Walnut trees are turning and dropping nuts. Squirrels are busy gathering.
I almost hate to see it, between boat repairs doctors and work, haven’t got my fill of pulling crankbaits and sweating. But for everything there is a season. Once I get the long poles and minnows in action I’ll get over it.
Not to mention shattering the silence with a 300 and turning Bambi a flip [emoji16]

The fruit on my beautyberry bushes are beginning to ripen, (a good sign of early fall), but it is still like walkin' into a blast furnace whenever you go outside for any reason, here in Central North Carolina.
I am so ready, for at the very least: Cooler mornings and evenings, and for the humidity levels to go away... far, far, away.
Lots of small limbs in my yard from squirrels building winter nest. Lots of green leaves falling too. Acorns are falling. I blame that on the heat and no rain.
Hard to tell if leaves are turning from fall, drought, or harvest aid in the air. Planes are flying and combines rolling here in MS Delta!! That said I’m ready for some cooler weather.

Ours are turning more from lack of rain I believe. This spring we had a lot of late frost which killed the persimmon crop for us. We have 5 large trees in our yard and are usually covered up in fruit. This year nothing. Walnut trees are usually the last to leaf out in our neck of the woods and first to lose them. Out oaks, acorns and walnuts are loaded. Fall grasses are emerging wa vengeance and grass is going to seed. We are ready for mowing season to end.
ADD…one thing we have noticed is the lack of mosquitoes this year YAY
Fall is definitely nut season. You can tell it’s fall when Speck posts. Bwahahaha.
And I’ve said it before, but only cause it’s true. Crank baits are for old men and little girls.
