I mean hit it so hard it surprised me and came out of the hiding spot like a rocket , rounded a tree before I was in the fight and slammed itself against it when it went to the AIR !
that ole warrior was sure enough ready for some watch this action and went back into the water after the image capture ....
man did it shame a crappie for the fight it had ,,,,sure enough a train wreck 9 inch fish no doubt about it ....:highfive

Looks like it has a scar that’s healed after being used for bait . Another survivor!
That one has some pretty colors on him, or maybe it’s the direct sunlight. I love me some bluegill for the fight too. The water here will cool down some and the crappie will start getting more active again. I’m ready for some thick fillets again.

MT, drill or burn a hole in it to relieve the pressure. Has worked for me since my carpenter days.
