Shell Cracker Fun!
To all the shell-cracker in Arkansas......be aware.....I am now a resident of Arkansas....I'm coming for ya! The fist pic the shell cracker is 12 inches.....the others are 10 inches….healthy fish for sure. Would have caught a lot more but the heat sent me packing quick….no video as GoPro was getting hot and freezing up….which is common for them no matter the model you have. A Root Beer Float TM did the trick. Same setup as for the trout yesterday...63 TenRyu Lunakia...Zenon 2000SH reel spooled with Varivas Twitch Master nylon 3# test line....1.5 gram Gekkabijin jig head #8 hook. I caught quite a few 4-5 inch shell cracker…which is a good thing. They crushed it when they hit! This was a great 45 minutes of fun. Life is good!

Some great looking crackers! Every one healthy. Glad you got a few good ones before you had to run for cover. I’m hoping to find a couple tomorrow morning before the wind gets up. Been 15 this afternoon.
