Still here.shelleys
25 or so years ago when our pond.was stocked 15% were shellcrackers.Wondered.if the were still here.Bought some redworms and fished out from some visible,who knows what beds, probably 6 ft deep close to bottom.First two real pig bream by my standards,third not big,but what I was looking for.Attachment 458927Attachment 458928Attachment 458929

Gonna go to a bigger long shank hook.
The bream inhale the worms , unlike crickets.Maybe cut down on gut hooks.

Long shank hook for sure !
Thread the hook down through the middle of a 1-1 1/2” piece of worm past the bend of the hood towards the hook eye they can’t get steal your worm and when you set the hook the worm will slide up the line . slide the worm back down after catching the fish you can catch 10-15 off one piece of worm!
