It was too windy yesterday but figured since I was there - run up to the neighborhood pond at my mom’s place. Thought I would find some crappie but no so luck.
Fished the MajorCraft Finetail SUL with a MGX Theta 1000s spooled with Varivas 2lb Blue Moon FC and a bison colored TM. Jig head is the forum favorite Daiwa jig head that I powdered painted black.

love that reel and the varivas blue moon Fluorocarbon is the best I’ve used. I have the avani braid on the way. Thinking about getting that exact rod you have and pair it with another Theta S.
