Sunk a small brush yesterday and shared with a few friends. Thought I’d share with y’all!! Dropped it in and splashed a bit. Look where the water spot landed on the West reading!! Convenient!! Im surprised. Those sticks light up like a bush in the water. For sure it'll catch some fish. For your style of fishing I'd be sinking brush daily with several piles fairly close together. For my style of fishing I mark alot of brushpiles just so I dont troll over them (unless theyre deep). When I troll over deep piles most times I pick up a fish or two.

I’ve found that Less is better. Too much brush close together creates a nursery of small fish. Lot of brush in an area kills too much time trying to cover them all. There will be one that hold the better fish and it changes for some reason I can’t explain. Some of my best piles are pitiful looking if no fish on them. A thin pile is less hangups and seems the fish are more aggressive. I think sometimes a loaded pile blocks the vision of the aggressive fish.Quote:
