Monday’s Dozen

Had the day off today and took full advantage of it. The water had a little color to it which makes sight fishing fat trout a little challenging. I didn’t catch any big ones today but brought 12 to hand. I was using the 6.10 Corto paired with a Daiwa Exist and 4lb Varivas Twitch. Mostly fished trout magnets and stonefly imitations on a .5 or 1 gram head. I did keep 6 for mom and dad to fry. The high water made it a little challenging but still had a great time and the scenery was gorgeous.
