I have only been there once. Are you fishing on the banks or deep?

They are right on the bank. 1-2 foot of water.

They've been up shallow on Wheeler also

I hadnt been fishing just for them, but I caught several on Friday spider rigging shallow.

I’ve been catching them and a bunch of bigger gills in 2-3 ft.
