Sometimes it just doesn’t work out

After a frustrating 4 days of work this week I decided to take the day off and head to my favorite lake for catching brim. With beautiful weather I had dreams of big bluegill and shellcrackers. Well, the dream remains for another day. Caught one, threw it on ice and never had another bite over the next 4 hours. No one else at the lake getting any either and I couldn’t even give my one away as no one else had anything to add it to. Oh well. Sunny and nice today with no problems to mind.

The time a man spends fishing is not deducted from his time here. Sounds like you had a good day, all things considered.

That’s a start….it should get better as the water continues to warm.

Yeah - it's two fillets are in the freezer to join some store bought Tilapia in a fish taco supper sometime this week. My daughter has already placed dibs on the bluegill fillets :)
