Thanks Slab. Can’t say enough good about Lakepoint State Park. The accommodations are great. We set out Friday evening and settled in after an hour of fishing. Skeet55 showed up with a friend and two other dear friends as well. We had a great time. The forecast for Saturday was wet but we woke to no rain and didn’t see a drop all day. We managed to catch a few crappie - the other two boys donated theirs to Ms Doe and me.
We caught most all pulling double 1/32nd rigs on channel ledges. Saturday they liked junebug/chart but as the day wore on blue sky was the color.
