Family obligations, property maintenance, and life in general has severely limited my crappie fishing this summer. We were still able to do our annual trip out West with a couple who loves the mountainous West as much as we do. This year our destination was the Wind River Mountain Range in Wyoming. We did a lot of hiking and exploring, and my pack ALWAYS included a fly rod and a couple of fly boxes. Trout fishing is my second favorite type of fishing, and this area did not disappoint! Fish were caught on dries and nymphs, and my wife even got in on the action one day with a collapsible spinning rod and Rooster Tails. We caught Brook Trout, Rainbows, Cutthroats, and Browns. I am sharing some pictures, and sincerely hope that this next week sees us back on the lake chasing some crappie!Attachment 384228Attachment 384229Attachment 384230Attachment 384231Attachment 384232Attachment 384233Attachment 384234Attachment 384235Attachment 384236Attachment 384237Attachment 384238Attachment 384239Attachment 384240
