Sounds like fun. Wish those were in the waters I fish.
i rarely ketch any larger ones , but to be sure they have an attitude , my wife got one one day that was the same size as her jig :yikes
caught a bunch of those yesterday and ONE keeper size crappie. But the green sunfish family hit bigtime and are so much fun on light tackle. bigger ones eat up just fine as well but didn't keep any yesterday as we were mostly tossing net for bait for my catfishing buddy.
Those are much darker than the ones here, but still fun to catch.

They are some aggressive lil jokers and I think their big mouths make them think they're bigger than what they are.....LOL
