red ears have always been tough for me , once in a while I find a few.
many moons ago we found a shallow grass flat in the winter full of them .
that was the best red ear trip of my life .

They've always been feast or famine for me. I have caught a few singletons this spring but usually, if I catch one, I'm catching 10. It just doesn't happen often enough!
