Why is Livescope driving up the price of used trolling motors?
Using them to point and aim livescope at fish. It’s an awesome idea so don’t get me wrong. It’s a good use of older or non-working units.

I've got an old 109 motor guide non-working that would be good for this. Free to any of you that need one for this purpose.
I'm certain it can be done, but not sure why it would be necessary. I plan on mounting my transducer on the barrel at first, if no good or bracket gets broke I can use the shaft bracket. Like the idea of having a fully functional secondary TM in case I need it, also can use the cone of the motor as a bumper of sorts. If drag concerns you, could also pull the prop off and store in the boat somewhere in case it was ever needed. :twocents
