Had a fellow I’ve never met before come open my cooler while I was strapping my boat down. Didn’t ask permission asked how I did and where I was fishing then opened my cooler. Kind of rude I thought

Yep very rude.
You left him on his feet, and no broken arms...? Yes very rude, and to be honest, none of his dang business....
Yea I was in shock. Think he was wanting a report for a tournament

I find his actions very rude. I personally would never even think about doing such. Don’t reach into my boat or truck without my permission..period!
Along the same line of thinking;
We had a good mess of fish recently and had just started cleaning the clients catch. 2 boats loaded with Amish families pulled into the marina. The women and kids headed to the restrooms. One of the men walked right up to the sink, reached in and grabbed the two biggest crappie, held them up to show his buddy, and said he’d never seen crappie that big. We were shocked he would do that. Guess he didn’t know any better. I guess I should have asked if he wanted his picture taken with them.
Guess it takes all kinds.

Nope... don’t reach into my boat...my truck... or nothing else of mine without asking or you will be put in your place! I would’ve had a “come to Jesus meeting” with that fella. He would have known his mistake.

That fella knew exactly what he was doing, Amish or not. If he didn't he would have before the women and kids came back. And if the roles were reversed, and I did say IF, You betcha he would have felt the same way...
That would be the same as someone coming up to your picknic area where you fixin' to throw a big ole' steak on the grill, snatchin' it up to show his buddy how big it is...Sorry folks, keep your cotten pickin meet hooks off my food. Call your buddy over and look is a whole lot safer fer ya....period.
