Finally made it back down to the chick

My son and I made it back to the chick yesterday and it was worth enduring a few hard rains. We ended up with two limits in about 5hrs. With double the shorts. We found most of our fish in 10 to 12 fow. We we're longlining at about .9 mph. BG strollers ended up being what the crappie seemed to prefer best for us. Purple was definitely the hot color. I guess to sum everything up we had a very enjoyable Good Friday on the chick it was a great way to start this Easter weekend! Here are a few pics from our trip the two my son are holding are 15"ers. Wow, that’s a great catch. This weather has been just terrible the last two days. Fish are biting if you can deal with the wind and rain!!
