Got out a couple hours this morning pre front with my best buddy. Used livescope to pick a couple brushpiles on a shallow ledge apart, in about 10 foot of water. Gray ghost hand ties did the job. Notice the shirt..... GO CATS!Attachment 337094Attachment 337095

Nice!! That'll hook a kid for life! How much is the Livescope setup? Is it mainly geared toward finding structure oriented fish, or is it good for open water, too?

The transducer and control box sells for 1500. You can find it cheaper if you're patient and shop around. Then you have to have a compatible Garmin unit. It can be used in any situation, but it also can aggravate the fire out of you. There are more fish than you can imagine near your boat all the time. Doesn't mean they'll bite though. A lot of them spook, or just check your jig out and swim off.Quote:
