With the warmer weather coming by mid week do yall think the spawn will get going. Personally I think its already started, not nothing major but...

IMO, not on the south end of Guntersville. Water is still too cold.

I was on weiss sunday mid day till dark, I was catching big females right on the bank in 2 ft or less water float and fly and on minnows. Its starting but next week should be real good

What was the water Temperature?

The next three weeks should be good on Weiss. Fish are headed to the spawning areas

Black Crappie on Pickwick are starting to lay. several caught this week with eggs running out.

Caught some that eggs were ready to go on lower end of Gville the past 2 trips (March 24 and March 28). Had 1 male out of 21 on the first trip and out of the 48 on Friday about 12 of those were males. Fishing 4-6' water. It is only a matter of time.

Spawn in full swing in the Mobile Tensaw delta. Water in the woods and the fish too. Water has fallen out of most of the woods now and I hope the spat came with it
