Can't launch in Pelahatchie Bay and not sure you can access it from the lake. Some kind of invasive weed they are trying to control.
You can launch at Fannin landing just north of Pelahatchie bay or at the launch by Shaggy’s restaurant on the east end of the Dam but you cannot go into Pelahatchie bay. It is closed to all boat traffic.

You might want to check the wind before going. I was wanting to go there today, but changed my mind because of that. If you go, I would launch at Tommy's Trading Post, off of hwy 43 on the north end of the Rez.

The bay is closed to all traffic until further notice due to the presence of Giant Salvinia. They have tentatively said that they hope to have it back open by April but there are no guarantees yet.
