A Big old bird whispered i n my ear yesterday that a couple weeks ago before the front the big crappie were pratically jumping in the boats. That fwc has comended lake griffin for BIG BASS and CRAPPIE SO FAR THIS YEAR. Maybe ill head that way soon

Well, to be honest, I've not been "boat" fishing since Billbob left. But having said that, I've caught a few from my sea wall, which is relatively rare, so it may very well be on! We'll see this coming week for sure.
When you say Griffin are you meaning the one in Fruitland Park/Leesburg?
