Plan B

Every once in a while you might have a trip you bring up everytime somebody mentions that lake.... Well this was one of those trips.... 4 goobers.... 4 poles.....2 boats. Lake Jessup was our target this morning. Not the easiest lake to fish for a bunch of reasons but today everything fell into place.... Plan A, even though a good bite and a lot of fun, didn't keep our interest that long. So, Jeff, the Speckdetector, introduced us to his plan B....basically just another location. Four casts....4 fish.... BAM! We found their room and it was on for several hours.... Can't thank Jeff enough for being our guide this morning.... Enjoyed spending the day with slab and billbob as well.....Awesome day!

I ate lunch almost every day at that ramp on Sanford Ave when I worked for Lowes. Seen a pile of Specks and bream come out that jem. Never fished it though. Looks like a great day.

Had another great days w/friends...Speckanator was a "Machine" once we located a good mess of fish, after several casts & catches, it will stick in my mind for a while, he said, "Let me show you all how to catch a fish" & wa-la bobber down/line tight...no show-boating, just feeling it, great to see... as well as the bite Bill Bob & Slab enjoyed single pole under cork, hope it made there trip home quicker than normal w/conversation of the day, can't do it again too soon guys...

This was a great way to send off the guber. He was here for two and a half week, but is leaving tomorrow. The fishing during those two and a half weeks was pretty tough, we did catch fish, but nothing like today. Thanks Jeff for a wonderful day. And new confidence in fishing with artificial under a bobber. Loved it.

Great to see the cigar smoking guber too. Always a pleasure.
