I have a friend that lives near the 280 bridge (Valhalla Cove), says that there is a lot of debris in the lake. Micheal went over the lake and Cordele.
You might what to call the Park and see if they are open. Power is still out on areas around the lake as well. That part of the state was hit hard by the hurricane
Roger that. I expected there to some debris but wasnt sure how bad. I might just take a drive this afternoon and see what the conditions are like. Power outage will be an issue also. Thank you kindly for the info

Well Blackshear was not as bad as I thought it would be. Surprisingly little debris where we were at. Cordele had mostly no power but did manage to find one place with minnows. The wind was stiffer than forcasted so it was more difficult to spider rig. Most of our bites were on minnows. Bite was very slow but managed to catch 3-4 that we put back. All in all it was a good day. Hope to go back next weekend and try again.

If I can get my cat together I might see you there.

10-4 I'll be in an aluminium Monarch stick steer, with a georga CDC sticker on the motor. I put in at Veterans Memorial park.

That is where we put in too. I am a spider rigger but may try learning to pull jigs.

I have a to knock a couple of deer down next couple of weeks, then it will be time for some sho nuff fall crappie fishing.
Well sir, I hope you get a big un if that is what you are after. If not, I hope you get a nice fat doe to make steaks, sausage, chili, etc. while I’m not particularly after a big buck as shown, I’m not so picky I won’t shoot one. Good luck and safe hunting.
