Been to Haulover and soaked any baits recently?
Naw Mike......
Ain't done nothing for a long time, I just lost my drive.
Did a little bit of shrimping at RRB, but that wasn't too good.
Thought about going up to OH and cashing in but didn't have the
getup and go to do that ....
Probably have put on another 10-15 lbs by just sitting around here = depressed ...
Am hitting 245lbs today = real depressed bout that ...... just too tired and depressed
to do anything...
Plus the wife is still struggling with this breathing thing. She's supposed to keep on
that oxygen 24/7 and she refuses to. Had to take her to get blood transfusion the other day,
Doc said she was white as a sheet = not getting enough oxygen ....
She'll be good to go for awhile, then slowly start going down hill, and we'll have to revive her
with hospital or new blood I guess .........
I can't even sleep with her anymore, she tosses and turns all night, messing up the bed cloths
talking (kinda) in her sleep = more like suffering = I don't know what to do with her. She's hard headed
and stubborn, and the one thing she's not going to do is listen to a man etc, etc, etc .....
So......................... Here I am..................existing ............ Sorry to be so down ............
Danny
(Please don't send well wishes, we're not in any dire straits at this point) ...............
Sorry to hear your troubles, hope things get turned around for ya.
Just remember what Richard Gene says, "Go fishin' when ya can, cause it's gooooood fer ya". Hope things get better for both of you Danny.
Hope things improve. Prayers for ya family. For me, being on the water is healing in a special way. Even if you can only get in the truck just drive down to the shoreline and let it soak in buddy.
We can't always change a certain situation but we can always pray and for this situation that we will do. Take care.
Danny , Sorry to hear bout you and the Wife, Depression is terrible thing ,get out in the Hot Sun and do something ,I know can't leave the wife Hell take her on a road trip just to get out ,Oct is coming get ready Hang in there My Man RR
Ha !
I went this morning down to RRB to retrieve my anchors. Got there and dove down = was out of air by the time I got to bottom of anchor
rope (pulling myself down). Tried once again, finally got to my anchor but just had time to feel around and felt like a piece rubber matt with
a sort of role to it, but no anchors, barnacles got my hand had to come up (14 feet deep = pitch black dark). So, I just decided to leave em down there.
I should've brought gloves, but didn't. Need to get a tank (I got dive card from many moons ago).......
Will dwell on it ...............................
Came home and washed hand in clorox bleach = Saw pics where a fellow in Daytona area scratched his wrist and got "flesh eating bacteria" infected,
looked pretty bad = don't need none of that stuff .....
If ya get a tank I bet ya find more than yours
Yep, couple years ago there was a fellow down there (Jim) had a tank with long hose
and regulator on the end, he was diving for anchors and had around ten of em, even gave me one,
of which I lost etc, etc, etc ..... He had some big anchors too, from these newbies with new
bigger boats thinking they can skunk the RRB......
That stuff down there on the bottom = it don't move lol.....
I did lose one down there last year (before losing all these), that I went after, but, the water was
pretty clear and I had around two-three feet visibility and ran right into it, could eyeball it good, one
of the flukes had slipped up under a piece of expanded metal laying on the bottom, like I say,
everything down there don't move an inch. Jim (diver) said there's tons of junk down there left over
from when they built the thing ....
I couldn't see a thing today, especially all the way down on the bottom between the pilings ....
