Mixed bag
Friday was a beautiful day to be on the water. The wind had calmed down after blowing hard for three days. The water continues to fall slowly and was a nice root beer color. Action started right away with a nice catfish and then another. We continue to catch more cats with an occasional slab on a regular basis. Linda was having a ball. Since the catching was good we called it a day early as we had lots to do at home.

Sure do. He’s the guy that told the world where my fishing hole was. Now it’s everybody’s fishing hole. That’s alright, he’s still a good guy.

Yes I did, we were waiting for breakfast at Toledo Tackle, a long wait I might add. I spotted him walking around chatting with people so I stepped up and introduced myself to him. I told him that I'd been watching his TV show lately and enjoyed it, even when he gave up my fishing hole to the public. The week after that I met people from all over coming to fish that area. Like Tbone said he is a good guy and like you see him on TV is the way he is in real life. I've met other TV personalities that weren't like that, they were different on screen than in person. Gary is genuine, what you see is what you get.

Nice catch Ms. Linda.
Worked with Rispone in the early 80's. He's the same today as he was then.
