River/lake clean up.

Havin some thoughts of setting up a river/lake clean up,anyone in the group that’s in charge be interested in setting something up like this?

You are as large and in charge as anyone on here. If you want an event of any kind just post up a date, time and location. If you build it they will come. Thats kinda how we roll around here. You will notice come fall people posting up fishing trips, fruit jars, slab togethers and possibly even a slabfest. Post up what you want to to and details and see how many takers ya get. Typically Flycaster makes a sticky on these sort of things. Best to plan at least a month out to get everyones attention and ability to plan.

Yep, just start a new thread with the title of what your planning and body of message with details.

I would think enough people on here care enough about the environment to show up. Come cooler months people will be knee deep spec fishing and may not want to break away. You can always post it up and if not enough takers cancel.

Could always do a bream fruit jar with side bets on most trash by weight. But with heat coming on I would end it around noon. Never know till ya post it up.

Can see no reason folks would not get involved....
