OK FELLOW'S WHAT'S THE NORMAL SPEED FOR LONGLINING
WITH JIG'S TIP'ED WITH MINNOWS.
It depends on the depth for me, if 10 to 20 fow I usually pull around .8mph but if depths less than that i pull around 1 to 1.2 mph. I also depict it on the fish as well and what i see on the graph and adjust accordingly but anywhere from .8 to 1.2 is the speed i go.
Is there really a normal? We have brettw remember

.8 - .1.0
I pull at .7-.9 mph, but have caught fish at 1-1.3 before. The fish will tell you what they want, if they are short striking it slow down, and vise versa. It's never the same way twice.

I adjust jig weights accordingly.
Anywhere from .8 to 1.2 is my range. Let the fish tell you.
