The one advantage to leaving near a company that makes molds, is I can drop by their shop and get the latest creation. I bought one of the first molds ( ten cavity)of this particular bait, the Talon 2.0 . It has the firefly tail which in my opinion is the most innovative design for crappie baits in years. I asked the designer could he put the tail on a grub large enough to handle a #2 hook? He came up with a senco type body and I said great he made it and the rest I hope is history! As many of you know the last year my wife has been recovering from heart transplant surgery so I’ve been out of the loop for awhile I’ve had the first mold Talon, maybe over a year I’d have to go back and see when I purchased it. This year I had forgotten I had given some samples to a retired guide who is using them now! He fishes the Coosa chain of lakes all the way up where the Coosa is the Etowah river in Ga. my other home lake Allatoona. He was doing some horse trading with two pro’s on lake info one day in his boat another in theirs. He pulls out one of the Talons and proceeds to have two 100+ fish days. Both pros loved the bait and said there is definitely something about that bait. Today I bought the 20cavity mold, hoping to get to work. Our retirement home on Weiss is finally almost completely renovated and ready for us to enjoy for as long as the Lord allows. Attachment 293904 I’ll be doing maybe 5 color patterns haven’t decided yet which, the wild cat pattern caught me 53 a few weeks ago. Looking forward to back sharing when I can. Later Liftbite56
