I think I still have scars from all the times I've cooked those and had them blow up and sling grease. Still love them. I don't have to worry about getting all I want, my wife runs away when I start to cook them. May have to try them in the air fryer.

Looks like the egg sac fried up ...never tried it, might have to now.

Crappie roe. Season good with Tony's, roll in cornmeal. Eat while warm. It's an acquired taste, they are a little bland.
