I have been steelhead fishing a couple times this year (2005) without any luck and I just realized i have not caught a fishi yet this year! Anyone have any ideas on the quickest way to solve this problem locally?

I dont know too much about the ship canal but the guys at gamefishin.com are slaying the steelhead.

Huge and I mean HUGE smallmouth bass can be caught out of the ship canal. Carolina rigged plastics do the trick everytime. Drag them on the bottom as slow as you can stand to.Quote:

I wonder how high the skykomish is now. the snoqualmie went from below minimum flow to almost flood stage within a few days
The skykomish is really bad but if you wait a while it should be ok .
