Bragging on HIM
I just wanted to share some of my joy tonight. About a month ago I was told my job (which is a remote employee role) was going to be filled by someone that lived in PA per the general manager's request. I agree that it makes sense, but made it stressful for a minute or two...but God looked out for me as I prayed for him to. There was a position with the same company I've worked for almost 23 yrs....based out of Bossier, New Orleans OR Biloxi, so I qualified, and my analytics background prepared me for the role in ways most external candidates wouldn't be. He kept me calm and reassured over the past month, and I never even looked for another job after I applied for it. I found out today it's been open since Labor Day, so I like to think He was saving it for me. :) I went through 4 rounds of interviews among 1 GM, 1 Asst GM, and 4 Vice Pres....and got the job offer today, even with an unexpected small bump in pay. God is good to me, and I am grateful.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Scott
