Been down here since last Sunday and we're having a blast! My folks have been wintering here for 18 years now and I try to come down from Indiana for at least a week every year. Hit it just right this time because the weather is perfect and the crappie are hungry. We usually pull jigs on Woodruff and Dexter, but we're getting some good numbers and the biggest fish out of the river right now.

We've been releasing the big girls over 2 pounds to spawn.

Sounds like a good vacation trip with benefits. Thanks for the releases too. I'll be a little south of there in the morning. Those are good fish in the pics, I'd show em off too.
