Is there a bunch of deer hunters there? We're heading to Northeast Miss for 3-4 days this coming weekend and I don't want to mess a bunch of folks up with my squirrel dogs. We're staying near Ripley so Upper Sardis ain;t to far away.

A lot of hunters in the Holly Springs national forest. Especially now thru the rut the next few weeks. I would check with the MDWFP about good areas for dogs and squirrel hunting over there. I get mad enough with people walking and riding 4 wheelers all over messing me up, god forbid a bunch of dogs yapping... Lol. Where about in Ripley? I deer hunt in between Ripley and Ashland on private land.
Staying at some lake just Northwest of town. Yeh, I'm checking out Bigfoot reports LOL
Sighting solved. They just saw Snubbys on his way to the deer stand!

I tote a big gun so a suit wouldn't be smart LOL
Think so G. talking the camper up Thursday morning and coming home Sunday.
On the conversation of upper Sardis, there is a road East of Wyatt's crossing called whiskey hill. It dead ends into the lake when there is water. Can anybody tell me if there is water????
That part of Ms. will look like the Measel's with orange with deer hunters. I've hunted all over that part, and I would be very worried about a stand hunter shooting any dog messing up there hunting spot that they been working on all year. That is just my thought on it, I would hate to see you lose a good dog.
