Nice trip. Bout time ya got a break and got it all together.
Nice going Danny
Nice fish Danny. I kinda doubt they got frozen.
Looks good Danny, motor running ok now?
Andy;
Ya know, it is water getting in the water/fuel seperator (gas) = when it gets full of water
the motor starts acting up (power cutting back etc).
So, = I empty the filter out, crank the motor up, watch the filter fill up with gas and
monitor it = gas only. Water will go to btm of gas tank, so, if filter has no water in it
then there is supposed to be no water in the gas tank.
Yesterday we ran across the river, down the river, crossed back over to the west bank, motored up
to where we put in, crossed back across the river again, fished a little bit more, then
decided to cross back across to the ramp to go home. On that return the motor began acting up
but it gets us back. = Sure enough the water/fuel seperator is full of water.
So, WHAT THE HEY ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Where it that water coming from ???????????
It's only a small amount (1/2 cup) but ......................................
I'm lost ...........................
I agree with Mike, it could come from gas tank breather, but, can't find one on this boat = must
be hidden inside the gas tank cavity within the boat etc, etc ... So that pretty much rules it
out as a culpert etc, etc........
Only other thing is that place where I get my gas is selling gas with water in it .....
But, water would go to bottom of tank and it would come out first etc, etc, etc...
Can you hook a portable tank, that you know has no water, in place of built in? Should tell you which direction to look.
:cheers2 Great day Danny !!
2 that are in the slot...WTG Danny
